Stock markets to conduct Muhurat trading on Diwali

MUMBAI: Stock and futures commodities markets will hold Muhurat trading today to mark the beginning of new Samvat 2066.

The Multi-Commodity Exchange and the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange will hold the Muharat trading between 1815 hrs and 1925 hrs. For Delhi and Mumbai bullions and oil and pepper markets it is business as usual on Diwali. However, other wholesale commodity markets will remain closed on account of Diwali. Stock, commodities and futures markets will remain closed on Monday on account of 'Bhaiya Dhooj'.
